how to make glass jewelry beads
Is there a place/company that can make jewelry out of deceased loved one’s things(glasses, hair, clothes ect)?

Ok strange question, i know. But I saw Celine Dion talking on Oprah about how she keeps all her sons things.. like even leafs and stuff he picks up off the ground because one day she would like to make a bracelet or beaded necklace or something out of it (she said there was a company that does it) but i cant find out the name.

Anyways, my bfs father just passed away and we want to take some of his personal things and make them into a beaded bracelet or a necklace of some sort..

Does anyone know if this is possible?
not quite what i was looking for but still a great answer! and good idea.. thanks!

Your best chance to get the beads or jewelry made like this would be to find an artist who works with plexiglass or Lexan. Those are clear plastic resins that you can pour into molds with other items or parts of items put in the molds first. The thick liquid plastic totally surrounds the items. After it sets and hardens, the artist can polish them and drill holes in them to be beads or whatever.

I’d contact the art department of a large college or university. It would be an interesting challenge for one of their students. Good luck!! ; )

btw, those clear domed paperweights with a dandelion puff or a small rose inside are made this way, using liquid plexiglass or Lexan in a mold.
